That's not to say i don't dig intelligent albeit dull girls but let's face it, whether you're into sports, gaming, or even politics, dont you want to be with someone that can shine on common topics, if not just look nice and shiney?

Well, in 2003-2004 SEMA i recall a Subaru specialized company called Prodrive introduce an arsenal of time attack cars all featuring a flat, matte silver finish. It was unique, it was well poised - i loved it. This year in Las Vegas at the Sema convention was an abundance of matte finished cars, some was well done and some just looked like unfinished (primer stage) and ridiculous. So it is official, the flat matte finish is a trend, and just like any going crazy with it or carried away can just look stupid. What is a good example? How about spoilers... from function to style to just absurdity!

well done! SL65 amg Black Series

Most recent (or at least aggressively pushing) in the marketplace is a brand that makes stuff to make your car shiney (i.e. wax, wash, polish), now making a vinyl specifically to cover ever square inch of the paint to give the desired matte finish. Maybe i have a biased opinion (for obvious reasons) but that doesn't seem to make sense. That's like owning a vodka company but having your staff wear an anti-drinking t shirt and boasting big black X's on everyone's hand.

An ass like that shiney isn't a requirement

As i learned at the show, for a low $1500 or $2500 installed and in less than 3 days you too can have your car dulled. I do see advantages of the process, don't get me wrong! You can for about the same price to paint the car you can get some awesome stickers to change the look that isnt permanent. Ummm... it will protect the actual paint underneath from damage and keep that shine in the paint nice and hidden - err if that is your kinda thing. I'm not sure how durable that stuff actually is although it has to be thin enough to maneuver in all those crevices and whatnot but if you have an accident you can just buy the part and wrap it instead of repainting.

Incase you didn't see this coming, you should have! Sign companies have been wrapping cars with vinyl for years! Advertising billboard on wheels, now instead of a particular design it will be a certain look. I hope to God this isnt prelude to some silly complete livery... Now available Lewis Hamilton F1 Livery for your Mazda rx8  hahaha... maybe i should package this concept and sell it! don't worry i rather not contribute to that!

See, even a skanky slut all shined up looks great, and desirable!
btw- i dont at all think you're a skank or a slut, i still love you.
How insane does that Skyline look all shiney and whatnot ? After all... isn't it every (car)person's dream to see themself in a certain car?
