If you had the pleasure or luck to visit Las Vegas for SEMA 2010, you would have known why 458 is the lucky number. SEMA for the unknowing is the pinnacle trade event where all things after market for the automotive market is revealed by top manufacturers, tuner and other companies aiming to gain recognition. This is where current trends prove more than just a fad and new trends get an explosive head start. In previous years the Evolution VIII was a big deal, multiple years the Honda Civic Type R made ruckus, and Altezza tail light style made many tuners cringe at its success. This year however, was definitely the year of the Ferrari 458 Italia. There were probably more 458's scattered throughout the show than smoking hot models in skimpy "promotional" uniforms. Okay maybe not... but, they definitely stood out more than the other cars in the show. Other notable car on display and on the other end of the pricing spectrum was Honda's new CRZ (revival of the classic CRX in modern design), got a lot of attention... not a bad looking car!

I should mention there was even one exhaust company that hung a 458 from the ceiling over their booth to show off their exhaust system for the car. As an exhibitor myself,  i can tell you, to hang a sign over your booth, like the moniker alone can cost upwards of $5,000.... i can only dream of imagining how much it must've cost them to hang that bad boy, not to mention the liability and the actual value being over1/4 million us dollars! (i think 350k in stock shape due to high demand). Enjoy the photos!
